What will you be doing?

As a Business Developer, you’ll have a dual focus on the manufacturing and process industries, identifying and developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging your Wallonia network to generate leads and bring in new business opportunities.
  • Managing your sales pipeline end-to-end, from identifying prospects to collaborating with technical teams on customized solutions.
  • Positioning yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and recommending the right IT solutions (e.g., Microsoft ERP).
  • Building long-term relationships with customers, supporting them throughout their project lifecycle.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and client needs in manufacturing and process industries.

Is there a match?

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial role within the discrete manufacturing or process industries (Chemicals, Pharma, or Mill sectors) OR proven expertise in IT and business development, with a strong understanding of Microsoft solutions and ERP systems.
  • A natural ability to connect with CxOs and other decision-makers in medium to large companies.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, proactivity, and the ability to spot and act on opportunities.
  • Fluency in French and solid communication skills in English and/or Dutch.
