Sustainability is a growing societal concern, impacting consumers and shaping the priorities of our customers. As a Sustainability Consultant at delaware, you can help these priorities take form. In this role, your main focus will be to optimize the sustainability efforts of clients through tools and digital solutions. With your (growing) interest in a greener world and technological solutions, you’ll fit right in with the #peopleofdelaware

What will you be doing?

You’ll be a pioneering sustainability tooling expert. That means there is still a lot of room for experimentation and growth. You aim to dive deeper into sustainability to bridge EU regulations with unique tooling solutions.
Be it capturing their corporate and product footprint, implementing emission calculators or diving into their ESG reporting requirements or other challenges – clients count on you to make the translation from strategy to implementation.

Your project flow will include

•   Understanding the customer’s needs and documenting them
•   Setting up the configuration of the tooling
•   Performing unit testing & integration testing
•   Conducting key-user workshop & trainings
•   Going live and hypercare support

We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen, and Wavre. But it’s important to note you’ll also spend a lot of time on the road, connecting and working together with customers on-site.

We’re looking for candidates who

• Have a minimum of 5 years professional experience in either:

Data reporting with the willingness to deep dive into sustainability
Implementation of ERP such as SAP or Dynamics with the willingness to deep dive into sustainability
Sustainability experience with the willingness to deep dive in IT solutions & data reporting

• Communicate fluently in English and either French or Dutch

Sustainability might not be new, but data-driven sustainability tools are. That means your curiosity is your biggest asset in this job. You will look for information autonomously, test the tools, and attend workshops about this subject. There is no manual – your passion for technological solutions and sustainability are your guide.

SAP Controlling (CO) Senior Consultant

The delaware SAP Finance & Business Controlling team has an exciting challenge waiting for our new SAP Controlling (CO) Senior Consultant. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and motivated professional who has the qualifications and work experience (6+ years) needed to take on an expert role on medium and large transformation projects, strongly relying on SAP CO.

As an SAP CO professional, with business understanding and experience based on multiple SAP CO assignments, you’ll deliver projects covering the entire scope of management accounting and its integration with other ERP functionalities and external systems and solutions. This includes analyzing your clients’ business requirements, designing the system or solution, building and testing it, all the way to the go-live as well as post go-live support. You will proactively manage all the risks and resolve any issues that occur on these projects.

Detail-oriented and highly organized, you are able to deliver multiple projects within your domain, from greenfield implementations to S/4HANA migrations. Your clients will rely on you to deliver all the necessary SAP CO services, from overhead accounting, product cost controlling, and material ledger to profit center accounting and profitability analysis.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in pre-sales activities, such as the preparation and presentation of solution proposals, design documents, and effort estimations based on your clients’ business requirements.

Last but by no means least, you are a natural communicator. You know how to engage and interact with customers and partners, notably SAP, to gain their trust and respect. You are also adept at coaching your colleagues and eager to actively share your knowledge with them in a structured way.
