Who are we?

Our department Management Consulting, consisting of about 60 consultants, aims to boost the value we deliver to customers. Operating across industries and tackling the needs and challenges of different stakeholders, we help put into motion technological transformation that improves the agility of IT and supports the business strategy. You'll work in close collaboration with our technology teams to achieve this.

We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen, and Wavre. But it's important to note you'll also spend a lot of time on the road, connecting and working together with customers on-site.

What will your role be as a CIO Advisory Consultant?

Through comprehensive digital and IT transformation strategies, you bridge the gap between business strategy & IT. As these are vital for implementing new ways of working — you generate extensive business value across different functions in this role. You'll be the first point of contact for the client, involving the technical & functional teams along the way.

You'll also

conduct maturity assessments of our customers’ IT portfolio
conduct market studies to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential areas of growth
develop & maintain an IT roadmap that aligns with the company's overall business objectives
develop a target operating model for our customer’s IT department
consult on the day-to-day operations of the IT organization, including IT management, governance and organization
coordinate change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes

Technical Service Consultant

Developing and supporting F&O systems that can go the distance

As a Technical Service Consultant at delaware, you know all the technical tricks and processes to implement new functionalities for our customers. And it doesn’t stop with the go-live, you’ll also make sure existing Dynamics processes stay in excellent shape.

Even if you have a background in other ERP-systems – we know from experience that your know-how will easily be translated to the Dynamics 365 F&O environment. Being eager to learn and willing to adapt makes you the perfect fit for our #peopleofdelaware.

What will your role be as a Technical Service Consultant?

You’ll come up with tailor-made solutions for technical issues and develop customizations.

Junior Software Tester

“On my current project, I am responsible for ensuring the quality of the applications through both manual and automation testing. The project involves working closely with developers to verify that the application functions as expected and as described in the customer requirements. The customer uses the Zephyr Scale tool for test plans and test cycles, Azure DevOps on the other hand is used for development and automation tests. We log and manage bugs in Jira, which we also use for the sprint boards. For automation testing, I develop tests using Playwright with TypeScript. The active collaboration with the development team makes this a very exciting project where I learn a lot at short time period. Regular meetings with the stakeholders during in-office work days or remote ensure the best communication and satisfaction.” — Lotte Rombaut.

As a Junior Test Engineer, you’ll take on the role of technical or functional tester, meaning that you’ll be supporting our projects on each test cycle, from small unit testing to integration and acceptance testing.

But there’s more: the consultancy element means that you’ll collaborate closely with our customers and colleagues from BeLux and beyond. You’ll learn to understand their needs, get insights on a variety of applications and safeguard the quality of the customized solutions for their business.

Relying on your extensive experience in the world of SAP solutions, you will play a key role in building the customer’s technology roadmap while working closely with our infrastructure and functional teams.
