“I started as a junior IT consultant on the Web & Content Solution in September. My project for Etex Group is fascinating. I’ve had the opportunity to implement back-end systems for their enormous websites and integrate them with other software. Additionally, we’ve worked on a fire protection website/app that we had to implement from scratch. This included SQL statements, stored procedures, importing it all into C#, creating a REST API, writing validators, and writing some front-end for another app. After signing my contract I still had some doubts about whether I had made the right choice. As a Junior .NET Software Developer, you’ll take on the role of technical consultant, meaning that you’ll be supporting our projects from start to finish, from analysis to implementation and support. Your focus will be on .NET full-stack and/or back-end development, which will feel like coming home thanks to your deep knowledge of IT.  

But there’s more: the consultancy element means that you’ll collaborate closely with our customers. You’ll learn to understand their needs and come up with customized technological solutions that work for their business.

What team will you be part of?

Whatever form of software development you prefer, you’ll find your niche on our .NET development teams.  

If you have a passion for data, you might like our Web & Content solution since it combines database management with back-end development in C#. Our Dynamics Customer Engagement team, on the other hand, focuses on full-stack development within CRM systems, using C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Last but not least is our Engage team, which specializes in developing .NET solutions for our Microsoft 365 offerings. We’re sure you’ll find your fit! 

We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen, and Wavre, but as a consultant, you’ll sometimes find yourself on-site with our customers as well. We offer flexible hours, and we’ll find the perfect balance together.

“Since starting at delaware, I’ve been working on a project at Fluvius to develop and maintain various applications. During the development phase, our team mainly focuses on the quality of the code; readability is paramount. The applications we currently develop consist of an Angular front end and a .NET API. In the front end, the focus isn’t only on web applications but also on hybrid apps and PWAs. This is a challenge because you have to keep the look and feel of the different platforms in mind. What I like most about the job is the impact you have on the client — the apps and functionalities I develop support the technicians at Fluvius in their daily work.” — Marbod Naassens

« En tant que consultant en intégration, un de mes projets favoris a été de travailler avec un hôpital pour intégrer ses systèmes HR. La tâche était complexe car elle impliquait de rassembler divers systèmes et processus pour améliorer les opérations HR. C’était mon premier projet et je n’ai pas réalisé le nombre de systèmes impliqués. Tout d’abord, il y a le logiciel de gestion des employés et le prestataire de service de paie. En outre, les employés sont confrontés à des dépenses lorsqu’ils doivent acheter quelque chose pour l’hôpital et il fallait donc prévoir un outil pour cela. Par ailleurs, l’équipe de recrutement souhaite parfois faire passer un test cognitif à un candidat et il faut donc un autre outil dédié à cela. Enfin, tous les employés n’ont pas accès à toutes les zones du bâtiment, il fallait donc intégrer un système de gestion d’accès. Vous me suivez ? Faire fonctionner tous ces systèmes ensemble de manière structurée et durable dans le temps fut un défi énorme. » - Rob Hofman


En tant qu’ingénieur d’intégration junior, vous assumerez le rôle de consultant technique. Vous suivrez nos projets du début à la fin, de l’analyse à l’implémentation et au support. Votre objectif sera d’aider nos clients à trouver l’architecture et le concept appropriés de solutions d’intégration hautement disponibles, sécurisées et évolutives. Vous serez dans votre élément grâce à vos connaissances approfondies en IT.
