The Totara Awards recognize the most innovative, impactful implementations across the global Totara network. This year’s awards saw an influx of entries related to the Totara Talent Experience Platform (TXP), launched in October 2020, with customer stories showcasing the great work of customers and Totara Partners with new products, Totara Engage and Totara Perform, alongside flagship product Totara Learn.
Many of this year’s entries revealed how organizations in all sectors leveraged learning, employee engagement and performance management to tackle COVID-19, with lots of genuinely inspiring and creative approaches to a challenging couple of years.
Katoen Natie’s project with delaware utilizes both Totara Learn and Totara Perform, uniting learning and performance management in Totara’s Talent Experience Platform. Katoen Natie cut training administration by 20%, enabling them to spend more time and resources curating excellent learning content with this combined platform. Katoen Natie can also measure learners’ competency levels and training hours, giving them a comprehensive overview of how learning activity impacts performance outcomes.
"We are building our first global Learning and Development platform for Katoen Natie. With Totara, we target to standardize our training, learning and development for every individual and appointed subcontractors in our company.” Koen Cardon, CEO of Katoen Natie Singapore said. “We want to leverage the high-quality training we build and personalize these per team and in different languages. The Totara platform will provide an overview of our learning and development training to evaluate the expertise level in other locations and operations. The Totara backbone will be crucial in our vast expansion and delivering quality customer service.”
"The introduction of the Totara Talent Experience platform seemed ideal to meet the global ambitions and needs of Katoen Natie for training,” Christophe Derdeyn, delaware Partner and Account Partner for Katoen Natie, reflects. “Once released, our teams did a deep dive with Katoen Natie and quickly established the rich benefits it will bring. Adoption quickly followed, and further roll-outs were jointly conducted by the delaware and Katoen Natie teams. These are exciting times for us!”
Lars Hyland, Chief Learning Officer at Totara, said: “Katoen Natie’s work with delaware is a fantastic example of the benefits an organization can realize when bringing together learning and performance management in a single platform. This is a much more efficient solution for Katoen Natie, and delaware’s work to support Katoen Natie’s digital transformation program should be celebrated.”
