delaware launches new UK delivery hub to extend global IT services

delaware has opened its first UK client service delivery “Hub” in Bristol. It is expected that 50 highly-skilled opportunities will be generated, focussed on the design, development and support of innovative business solutions based on SAP and Microsoft technologies. The Hub will further extend delaware’s business process improvement and related IT services in the UK to help clients optimise business performance and generate a sustainable competitive advantage.

Located within the Bristol Temple Quarter, the Hub will complement a rich array of technology and professional businesses already located in the area. delaware is making a significant commitment to the region through the creation of highly skilled jobs and to working collaboratively with local universities to harness its developing talent pool.

The facility is operational and staffed with a variety of IT positions ranging from entry level up to highly experienced professionals.

delaware has also recently launched its first graduate development programme in the UK. 15 graduates attended an introductory six-week training course at delaware’s Learning & Development Academy in Belgium, where they joined more than 100 delaware graduates from across the world, following a variety of technical and business tracks. Their further development and learning will continue in the UK for the next two years.

The delivery Hub will adopt a hybrid model of providing both dedicated project/client resources and the option of deploying pooled/shared capabilities. The introduction of the Hub is central to delaware’s continued strategy to offer a seamless approach to delivering value-centric and sustainable business outcomes.
